Terms and Conditions
Please check availability by telephone (01822 810271) or E-mail moorview@dartmoor-holidays.fsnet.co.uk. Please complete the booking form and return to our address at the top of this page. We will hold provisional bookings for five days, allowing time for you to send in the deposit/Balance together with the completed booking form
Deposit and Balance
A deposit of 25% of the total rental is required with the booking; a receipt
for the deposit will be issued. The balance of the rental must be forwarded at
least 28 days prior to the commencement of your stay. Sorry no credit cards
are accepted.
Linen & Towels
Full bed linen is provided at no extra charge as are small bath and hand
towels, also tea towels are provided
Laundry Facilities
In the cottage there is a washer/dryer available for your exclusive use.
Short Breaks
From November to March we are always pleased to welcome visitors for short
breaks from two nights upwards;

Reservation Conditions
Every effort is made to ensure that all amenities advertised are available but no liability can be accepted for any omissions.
Accommodation is available from 4 pm on the first day of booking. By 10 am on the day of departure, the accommodation must be vacated and the equipment, furniture and premises handed over in as good a condition as they were taken over. Any damage, loss or destruction shall be made good by the applicants who also undertake the preservation and cleanliness of the goods and premises until handed over at the end of the booking.
If for any reason the booked accommodation is not available, liability shall be limited to a full refund of the monies paid to the proprietors.
The is a restriction of a maximum of 6 people (this to include infants) who can and will be allowed to stay at Moorview Cottage, if any additional persons are suspected/found to be staying at the cottage, the police will be called and all occupants will be requested to leave the property, no refunds will be issued.
The proprietors shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to valuables, personal property of any kind, motor vehicles, motor cycles, boats etc or personal injury or death, direct or indirect, irrespective of how it was sustained, occasioned or caused to anyone of any age (including persons under 18 years) who is a resident or invitee of the proprietors whether caused by or resulting from any default, wilful act, negligence, omission, neglect or otherwise on the part of the proprietors, their servants or agents or any residents, guests or invitees.
Well behaved dogs are welcomed at Moorview (maximum of two) at a charge of £20 per dog per week or part thereof. Dogs are accepted on the basis that they are kept on a lead and under control at all times and not left unattended in the cottage at any time.
