Moorview Cottage Twin Bedded Room Our self-catering cottage is spacious and well equipped with its own garden and private off road parking. Conveniently situated in a quiet rural location near to the historic market town of Tavistock. Available for holiday lettings throughout the year Accommodation comprises of: Ground Floor: Two double bedrooms with hairdryer in both One twin bedded room Shower room with first WC and wash basin First Floor: Large comfortable lounge with with integrated dining area in one corner equipped with 28" Colour Television with Freeview Video Player (with small selection of Video tapes) DVD Player An assortment of books, and small amount of board games and puzzles etc. CD/Radio/Cassette player Wireless Connection* Separate fully fitted kitchen with Dishwasher, Cooker, Microwave, Fridge-Freezer as well as all usual essential equipment e.g. electric kettle, toaster etc. Second WC and bath (with shower over) and wash basin. The granite barn was converted into a cottage a few years ago and is situated within the grounds of our own house; it is detached with its own small garden area. From Moorview a 15-minute stroll down the road will take you to the local pub, which offers a good selection of bar/restaurant meals together with a range of local ales. Moorview is located just a couple of minutes drive from Tavistock which offers a variety of interesting and unusual shops, including "Creber's" delicatessen, famous throughout the world. It also has the wharf which houses a small theatre cum cinema. Close by is Meadowlands which is a leisure/swimming pool for all the family to enjoy, there is a park with a small canal running through it, where children love to feed the ducks Tavistock, as you would expect has plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes dotted all around the town should you wish to stop for a coffee, a traditional Cream Tea or even lunch.
